Costs and Other Details

Metal Buildings Institute Contractor Certification is a three-year program.

The fee for certification, payable at the time certification is awarded, is $1,200 for members of MBCEA and $2,400 for non-members. The fee is billed in equal annual installments of $400 for members and $ 800 for non-members.

There is a one-time $50 application fee payable at the time the Certification Application Packet is returned to the Metal Buildings Institute.

The Metal Buildings Institute Contractor Certification Program is directed by a committee of industry leaders and managed by a staff of professional administrators.
